Alaska, but not for
the faint-hearted!

Chris Carr is a dedicated and hardworking Guide who does his utmost to get the clients the animals they yearn for! His camps are very primitive but adequate, the food is not a great culinary experience but rather like Crocodile Dundee said about Lizard "You can live on it but it tastes like shit!". After the cross Atlantic flight and the night spent either in Anchorage or in Dillingham, you are flown to Portage Creek where Chris resides. After acquiring the necessary licenses and tags, you leave for the distant base camp by boat.

The hunting is tough and entails lots of footwork; you must be in good condition to enjoy the experience. Chris has a success rate of nigh on 80% which exceeds by far the average for Alaska. Normally guided hunts result in about 60% of the hunters actually scoring and much less for the unguided.
