We saw about another sixty Bears during our
week, many smaller but also several a lot bigger.
It is a pity that it is so damn expensive or I

Spring Bear hunts

The area spans over nearly 3000 square kilometers and is situated on the game rich plateau, Nechaco, which lies at an altitude of 3-6000 feet and only a couple of hours drive from the town of Prince George. You are picked up in the town.

Jim & Lyle, the owners of Batnuni Lake Outfitters, are old hands in the business and have always been dependable and ethical during our many years of cooperation.

Stalking is the only method used and after the animal is sighted from either horseback, boat or four wheel drive vehicle. Baiting is forbidden in BC!
This method has led to nearly 100 % success on Moose with more than 50" span.

 


A fall hunt costs around £6000 air included, excluding tags and costs in connection with trophy preparation.
