Bird hunts in South Africa

During the harvesting of sun flowers, in March and April, there are thousands and thousands of pigeons feeding from the mellow seeds and that is when the bird enthusiast gests a memorable hunting experience.

Besides pigeons you can also shoot Guinea fowls and Francolins and if you like, one or two common antelopes. The trophy fees can be found on the PDF under antelope hunts, South Africa.

You fly to Johannesburg where you will be met by Johan and Jacques. They will help you through customs and gun control.

On the way to Rondeberg, a drive of 2-3 hours, you can stop at a Mall where you will have the opportunity to buy anything you might need in the way of hunting clothes or other equipment. The prices, the quality and the assortment are much better in South Africa than in Europe.

At our own hunting farm, Rondeberg, you will spend 6 unforgettable days. You will stay in a two bed Rondavel with ablutions in the close vicinity. You will be served the most wonderful meals by Johan’s wife René.
The nearest little village is Roedtan and the nearest town is Mokopane.

The hunting is done mornings and afternoons with a break for lunch and perhaps a siesta.
Ammunition is not included and can be bought locally.
